The Spend Cloud can process scanned paper invoices, digital (PDF), and electronic invoices (UBL, XML, PEPPOL). You can even automate this process!
2. Automatic workflows

The advanced text recognition in the Spend Cloud is much more than traditional OCR software. It’s an AI-driven technology that makes processing invoices in the Spend Cloud faster and simpler. This leading Data Capture API automatically reads invoice data and fills it into the Spend Cloud’s coding menu, regardless of how the invoice is added: manually uploaded or via the mailbox. The Spend Cloud automates the entire approval flow. You pre-set who can approve which invoices (for example, based on department, project, or amount). As soon as an invoice arrives, it automatically goes to the right person, who can review, reject, or forward the invoice with one click, either on the computer or via the Spend Cloud App.
3-way matching is the automated process of checking whether the purchase order, the registered delivery, and the invoice match. By integrating the invoice processing, purchasing, and contract management processes, the Spend Cloud can perform this match completely automatically. This enables ‘touchless’ invoice processing, where a correct invoice is processed without any manual actions.
